Paragon Partition Manager 2013 Free – new interface, conversion and NTFS support for Windows 8
Paragon Software Group has presented to the public a new version of free application for working with hard disk partitions Paragon Partition Manager 2013 Free. Update provides full support for Windows 8 includes a user-friendly tabbed interface and no longer requires free registration.
The assembly also adds in Paragon Partition Manager 2013 a couple of new features, including the conversion of non-destructive partition of NTFS, but still less feature-rich “younger brother” solutions Paragon Hard Disk Manager 12.
The main advantage of the release in 2013 compared with the previous – Full support for the new operating system Windows 8. As can be seen from the modified boot screen, it borrows a theme tile menu in a fresh operating system of Microsoft. From here, users can quickly access key functions of Paragon Partition Manager 2013 Free, or jump to the main program interface.
The main interface of the application has also been substantially reworked – now it boasts tabbed browsing, which are separated by software tools.
Total there are three tabs:
– Backup and Restore;
– Segmentation;
– Copying and Migration.
Most of the functions presented here is inactive. To unlock them you must go to Paragon Hard Disk Manager 12.
Among the new features Paragon Partition Manager 2013 Free developer calls the ability to convert the file system NTFS and HFS without formatting the hard drive. The application also configures the latest hard disk partition table GUID Partition Table (GPT).
Upgrade Paragon Partition Manager 2013 Free is absolutely free and supports Windows XP and above.
